This original reproduction windshield wiper switch fits 1955-1956 Chevrolet passenger vehicles. This switch comes complete with a new stainless steel cable and sheath and can operate both electric and vacuum wiper motors. The body of this switch has a --3/16" overall depth. NOTE: This switch is not compatible with the original 1955 accessory windshield washer kit.

Note that the original escutcheons are required and are not available as an aftermarket item to the best of our knowledge. Please note that the RainGear unit cannot be controlled by any General Motors column-mounted wiper switches. You must use the included switch. Original radios in the upper dash board mount location will not clear our system. We have one report of an aftermarket radio interfering as well. This Raingear Wiper System fits 1967-1972 Chevrolet pickups. This kit mounts inside of the airbox, which is located beneath the cowl panel on the outside of the truck, below the windshield. The relocation of this kit to the airbox from the original position under the dash frees up space under the dash to accommodate a computer when doing an LS swap. This kit features a 12 volt, ten amp, two-speed electric motor and comes complete to work with your original wiper arms, blades, switch bezel and switch knob. NOTE: When installing this kit you will need to install a passenger side defroster duct, on the driver side to allow room for the new switch and wiring. This is a Universal 12-Volt Wiper Motor with Stainless Housing. Motor comes with wiper arm and blade. The shaft is 5" long and includes instructions for shortening the shaft. This wiper motor has an automatic self park and a 110 degree sweep. Motor overall depth is 3-1/4". For replacement wiper arms see VT-60, VT-61, VT-64 or VT-65.
