Car Number ID Plates
This is a beautiful reproduction of the factory Identification Plate for 1939-1941 Chevrolet Trucks, including Pickup, Suburban, Canopy Delivery and Panel trucks. The plate is black etched on aluminum just like the originals. Note: these plates were not usually used for registration as they are easily removed. Most often, registration numbers used were the stamped engine serial numbers. NOTE: Weight must be stamped onto plate, as original.

ID Plate Rivets
This rivet was used on Fisher Body cowl tags & paint tags from 1936 and newer, when mounted through a 1/4" hole. On trucks, this rivet was used on the identification plate on the door post or kick panel from 1947 and newer, when mounted through a 1/4" hole. Not used on Bowtie ID plates on early cars & trucks.
