This is a Rocker Molding Mounting Clip Set for 1953-1955 Chevrolet Passenger Cars. The clips are correct for 1955, but will work on 1953-1954 as a replacement. Set does both sides. Dimensions: 1" x 1-7/16", 16 Clips Per Set. This clip is mounted with a screw - like 1955, not a bend-over tab as was used in 1953-1954. To mount this set on 1953-1954 models, install one clip at each end by drilling a hole in the rocker in between the factory square holes. Hold the rocker molding in place on the top of the clips to insure proper alignment. Once it is determined that the alignment is correct, drill remaining holes. To mount the molding to the body, hook the top edge of the molding over the top of the mounting clips. Snap the bottom of the molding firmly down over the lower legs of the clip. Ours is the only complete set of clips on the market. If you are looking for quality, this is the one to get.
