Car Number ID Plates
This is a beautiful reproduction of the factory Identification Plate for 1953-1955 GMC Trucks, including Pickup, Suburban, Canopy Delivery and Panel trucks. The plate is black etched on aluminum just like the originals. Note: these plates were not usually used for registration as they are easily removed. Most often, registration numbers used were the stamped engine serial numbers.

ID Plate Rivets
This rivet was used on Fisher Body cowl tags & paint tags from 1936 and newer, when mounted through a 1/4" hole. On trucks, this rivet was used on the identification plate on the door post or kick panel from 1947 and newer, when mounted through a 1/4" hole. Not used on Bowtie ID plates on early cars & trucks.
