This is a UNIVERSAL Gas Tank Sending Unit for all 1930-1960 GM Cars & Trucks with 30 Ohm Dash Gauges. Fits tanks 6-1/2" to 24" deep only! This sending unit is for STOCK dash fuel gauges which are all 30 ohm. This sending unit will work on 6 volt or 12 volt systems. NOTE: For aftermarket dash gauges with 90 ohm, use RV-90. Comes with gasket & screws.

This universal gas tank sending unit is for all 1941-1954 Chevrolet cars & 1936-1946 trucks. The arm must be adjusted to the proper length before installation. Fits tanks 6-1/2" to 24" deep ONLY! This sender is for STOCK dash fuel gauges which are all 0-30 ohm. Works on 6 or 12 volt systems. Stainless housing, mounting plate and float arm for long life. Comes with gasket, screws & instructions. For aftermarket dash gauges with 90 ohm, use RV-90.

The stock fuel gauge for 1931-1954 Chevrolet is 30 ohm. This sender is for 90 ohm after market gauges. CANNOT BE USED WITH STOCK FUEL GAUGES. See RV-63 for stock gauge sending unit. 1931 OWNERS NOTE: In 1931, there was an early and a late version of the sending unit. This sender will only work with the late version which has a single float system with a 2-3/32" diameter bolt pattern. Early senders are a two float system and a larger diameter. The float can be modified to be used with this tank by fabricating a top plate and gasket to match the original bolt pattern.

This fuel tank sending unit is for all 1931-1934 Chevrolet cars & trucks, also all 1935 & 1936 trucks. This unit is for stock dash fuel gauges which are all 0-30 ohm. Comes with gasket and screws for mounting. Dimensions: ID 1.818", OD 2.796". Replaces GM# 364485, 862723. 1931 OWNERS NOTE: In 1931, there was an early and a late version of the sending unit. This sender will only work with the 1931 late version which usually (but not always) has a single float system with a 1-1/4" DIAMETER bolt pattern - Bolt Centers: 1.425", 1.215", 1.250", 1.250", 1.250". Early senders are a two float system and a larger diameter. This sender cannot be used for earlier models. COMPARE DIMENSIONS BEFORE ORDERING!

Gasket Dimensions: 1-9/16" ID x 2-9/16" OD. Kit comes with gasket, 5 screws and lock washers. These cork floats were used on many Chevrolet & other GM vehicles from 1927-1946. Some units require only one cork while others need two. We sell these in pairs for either application. The cork is sealed with an alcohol resistant coating.
