1947-1952 Chevrolet & GMC Pickup Drag Link Balls - WELD-IN. These studs are replacements for the stud where the tie rod and drag link ends are attached. Grind off weld holding in old stud and knock out with hammer and punch. Bolt in or weld in new stud and reattach tie rod or drag link end. Fits 1/2 ton unless otherwise stated. Grind off weld holding in old stud and knock out with hammer and punch. NOTE: This may require a 20-ton hydraulic press. Bolt in or weld in new stud and reattach tie rod or drag link end. Fits 1/2 ton unless otherwise stated. Dimensions:Tie Rod Balls = 1" Diameter Ball Head with .525" OD Stud. Drag Link Balls: 1 ball has 5/8" diameter Stud, 1 ball has 3/4" diameter Stud. Both have 1" diameter ball head.
