This is a replacement gear shift ball seat for all 1932-1936 Chevrolet cars & trucks with 3-speed transmissions. This ball seat is very often badly worn because it is a pot metal piece. The lock ring that holds this piece in place can work loose and allow movement in the ball seat. This will prematurely wear out the seat. When that happens, shifting becomes difficult or impossible. Check whenever rebuilding your transmission. This is an NORS item, limited stock available. Replaces GM# 367407
