This is a completely new reproduction of the original Cowl Hood Lace with Wire Insert that was used on most GM vehicles from 1929-1939, including all Chevrolet cars & trucks. Design & engineering took over a year to get an exact match. The material is a dark brown, close to black. Proper contours & beads that match original samples perfectly. Each strip is 3/4" Wide x 48" Long of fabric with a 52" wire inserted into it. Cut to length as required.
NOTE: The hood lace is sold in individual 48" strips to fit most cowl applications. Mid-thirties cars also used this material on the radiator shell. To accommodate mid 30's vehicles where short sections are required on radiator shells, order one extra piece. ORDER TWO PIECES IF DOING A COWL AND A THIRD PIECE IF NEEDED ON THE RADIATOR SHELL. Early cars used hood lace without wire on the radiator shell. Order tension hooks AF-277 or clips set DS-106R separately. Made in the USA! Replaces GM# 374969.
