This parking brake cable fits 1947-1955 (1st Series) Chevrolet & GMC 1/2 Ton Shortbed Trucks. It mounts to the rear brake backing plate. Overall Length is 41". This is the original GM Style METAL HOUSING cable. Must be modified to work with 1947-1950 1/2 Ton trucks by using RW-1 clip. MADE IN USA!! Replaces GM# 3694170, 3686522
