These studs are replacements for the stud that the tie rod and drag link ends are attached. Grind off weld holding in old stud and knock out with hammer and punch. Bolt in or weld in new stud and reattach tie rod or drag link end. Fits 1/2 ton unless otherwise stated.
The ball size is 1" diameter, the shank diameter under the mounting flange is .530", the unthreaded section under the mounting flange is .655" long and the threaded portion for the nut is .620" long.
