This Tie Rod Ball Stud fits 1946-1959 Chevrolet & GMC trucks (exc 1/2 Ton). They are threaded replacements for the stud that the tie rod ends mount onto. CAUTION: Be sure the new ball is fully seated in the arm and down tight when installed. This stud has a tapered shank. Dimensions: 1" Diameter Ball with .532" Diameter Stud. Replaces GM# 377992
