This glove box light assembly fits 1954-1972 Chevrolet & GMC cars & trucks. Each unit comes with the light and wiring, ready to install. This assembly comes with a 12 volt bulb but can be used with a 6 volt system by changing the bulb. Replaces GM# 986899
