This is a Temperature Gauge for 1947-1949 Chevrolet trucks. It is a mechanical gauge with capillary tube as was original in these years. The gauge is correct for Chevy Trucks, but will fit GMC truck. Color of face is different than GMC. Red needle with tube length for 8-Cylinder models 100-212 Degrees. Replaces GM# 1511898, 1511899, 1512701
