This is a spring loaded door striker that fits 1939-1940 Chevrolet passenger cars for front or rear doors. It also fits 1941 & 1942 Chevy Sedan Delivery on the rear door only. Replaces GM# 4093569. See also GR-119C for chrome finish door striker.
For 1941 1942 Chevrolet Cars
This door striker is used on 1933-1935 Chevrolet closed cars (except 1935 Master & 1933 Sedan Delivery). Striker is 2" long x 1-1/4" wide x 1/2" high with a staggered bolt pattern. Replaces GM# 4038147.
For 1933 1934 1935 Chevrolet Cars
This striker is used on 1925-1932 Chevrolet closed cars and 1929-1933 Chevy trucks. Also fits 1933 Sedan Delivery. Striker is 1-3/4" long x 1-1/4" wide x 1/2" high with an in-line bolt pattern. Compare to your original before ordering. Also see GR-170 for staggered bolt pattern.
