This is a 6-Lug Disc Brake Kit for 1947-1959 Chevrolet & GMC 1/2 Ton Trucks, Less Master Cylinder. Bolt pattern: 6 on 5-1/2" centers. The 6-lug disc brake kit contains all youll need to put modern discs on your stock 1/2 ton spindles, and uses your stock hub. The 1-1/4" thick, 12" rotor uses a GM full-floating caliper. .
Notes: *Original 15 and 16 drum brake wheels will not work with this disc brake kit; must use "disc brake specific wheels. Verify fitment prior to installation. On some models (mostly 1947-48), the lower spindle holes will need to be drilled out from 7/16 to 1/2. If you are using the OE hubs, manufacturer strongly recommends the Roller Bearing Upgrade FS-216K. (It may be possible to clearance some 16 wheels, but we do not recommend modifying due to safety concerns.)
Kit shown in photo is with optional upgrade drilled/slotted rotors at additional cost.
