This Rear End Conversion is designed for 1955-1959 Chevy 1/2 Ton Trucks, 3100, 3200. It is a weld-on kit. It ensures a seamless fit. Ideal for restoration projects.
This conversion kit allows the installation of any 3" diameter rear end, including GM 10 Bolt, GM 12 Bolt, F-Body 7.5" or Ford 9". It can also be used as a flip kit for a 4" to 5" drop. Welding is required. This kit also provides provisions for modern shock absorber mounting, a vast improvement over the original lever-action shocks.
Kit comes with saddles, mounting plates, 3" U-bolts and hardware.
