This is the steel rod that attaches to the tie rod ends for 1937-1940 Chevrolet passenger cars with Straight Axle. It is the proper length and diameter. It is threaded on both ends for the left & right tie rod ends. Replace yours if it is bent to get more accurate wheel alignment. Made in the USA! Dimensions: 43-1/8" Long with 25/32"-16 Thread, 13/16" OD. Replaces GM# 593047
