This is a completely new brake master cylinder for 1940-1952 Chevrolet passenger cars. 1" Diameter Bore. Replaces GM# 5453737 with Casting # 5450655

Specific applications:
1940-1952 Chevrolet passenger cars (except Powerglide)
1950-1954 Chevrolet cars with Powerglide Transmission - Replacement (must use adapter kit AF-425)

NOTE: 1940-1948 MUST RETAIN LARGE FITTING/NUT ON END OF OLD MASTER CYLINDER TO INSTALL ONTO NEW MASTER CYLINDER.
