1947-55 TRUCK FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER

This is a replacement tube type shock absorber for FRONT shocks on 1947-1955 (1st Series) Chevrolet & GMC trucks. For applications with lever arm shocks (bracketing must be changed). Made in the USA!

These are a nitrogen gas charged shock. Dimensions: Extended Length 16.375", Compressed Length 10.125", Travel Length 6.250". Replaces GM# 808M, 5531224

Specific Applications:
1947-1949 1/2 Ton thru 1 Ton Trucks - Requires new brackets;
1950-1955 (1st Series) 1/2 Ton thru 1 Ton Trucks
