This is a direct replacement for the original part and fits the 1955-57 nomad models. Stamped in the USA, this is identical to the original, using the same gauge material. All of the exterior chrome molding mounting holes, hinges and tail gate handle locations are correct. This tail gate will also fit the 1955-57 Pontiac Safari Wagon.
