This is a new reproduction windshield regulator mechanism, complete with stainless control strap & attaching bracket. Cast in aluminum, it is much stronger than the original pot metal gear housing. It fits 1940-1946 Chevrolet & GMC trucks. A beautiful reproduction Made in the USA! Replaces GM# 3654088
