This universal spark plug wire set is made with Copper Core wire for low resistance. This set fits all 1953-1962 Chevrolet 6-cylinder engines, both car & truck. Resistance wire (carbon core) lowers the intensity of the spark and will cause performance issues in early 6-volt systems. Our wires are solid copper core and will allow maximum spark to reach the plugs. This style of wire is a proper replacement wire for 1953 and newer 6-cylinder engines. Rubber boots at spark plug end and distributor end. Made in the USA!
