This carburetor kit fits only 1949 Chevrolet cars & trucks equipped with Carter W-1 carburetors. The 1949 W-1 carburetor is unique in that it has a metal strap linkage on the side of the carburetor from top to bottom. The accelerator pump is unique to this model 684S carburetor. Dimensions of the accelerator pump: Overall Length - 2-11/16", Length of shaft from center of hole is 2-9/16", Length from center hole to bottom of leather is 2-1/2".
