The wait for a high-quality 1957 Chevrolet car reproduction hood assembly is finally over. Stamped in the U.S., this hood has been carefully crafted down to the smallest specifications of the original. No more having to scrape by using outer hood skins to cover up the bigger rust problems. This hood is ready to go right out of the box; just prep, paint and install the hood. You'll be ready to go in no time for that upcoming car show. This one-piece assembly includes the complete welded inner and outer panels, mounting holes for the hood rocket assembly and hood latch mounting components. For easier convenience, the hood has been laser etched for the Bel Air, 210 and 150 trim packages including the molding and emblem locations. All of the hood components have been die-formed from electro-galvanized steel and phosphate treated for quick painting.
