These tanks are made from impact-resistant cross linked polyethylene (the same material used in race car tanks). Our exclusive baffle-tunnel adds even greater strength to the heavy wall construction and minimizes sloshing to protect the sending unit. The pickup tube outlet is mounted on the top of the tank for added safety. In addition the roll-over vent valve protects against fuel spillage in accident situations and also protects against splash-out during normal driving. These tanks are designed for street rod use. They come with threaded "blind" metal inserts for the fuel tank sender. They are set up for VDO Stewart Warner and other after-market senders.
