1947-1959 COLUMN SHIFT LEVER RETAINER

This is a repair kit to fix problems with column shift and automatic shift levers for 1947-1959 Chevrolet & GMC cars & trucks with 3-speed or automatic transmissions. The kit comes with main spring, two locking pins, wear collar and a replacement rubber bushing. The rubber bushing is used in place of the original coiled spring at the end of the shift rod. The bushing prevents noise and keeps the shift lever steady. Refer to drawing for installation assistance.
