This mirror is a reproduction of the original dealer installed GM accessory outside mirror used on 1949-1953 Chevrolet passenger cars (can be used on 1954 cars also). Mirror head is 4-3/8" OD. Arm is mounted offset on back. Prior to 1953, Chevrolet passenger cars were sold without outside mirrors, so there is no factory correct original mirror until 1953. These mirrors were sold and installed by Chevrolet dealers but they are an aftermarket style mirror. NOTE: INSTALLATION REQUIRES DRILLING HOLES. MUST BE SCREWED INTO SHEET METAL - 2" CENTERS.
