This is a U-joint repair kit for all 1940-1954 Chevrolet passenger cars & Chevy & GMC 1/2 ton trucks. The kit consists of: the trunion, 4 bearings, 2 lock plates and 2 snap rings - just like the factory units. Replaces GM# 609944.
Grease the inside of the bearing caps before installation. It is also recommended that the ball housing gaskets are replaced when replacing the Universal Joint.
